The Wall Art Festival, an annual collaboration between the French Institute in India and the Alliance Française in India since 2021, aims to democratize art by making it accessible to all. Beyond mere technical prowess, the art showcased at this festival carries profound messages that resonate with the public.

In 2024, the Wall Art Festival is reaching another milestone. The ambition is to foster dialogue among artists and transform the event into a grand, popular celebration. The festival will explore two exciting themes:

  1. Urban Arts: We aim to propel wall art into deeper conversations with other artistic forms that defy established norms. Urban arts have the power to break boundaries and redefine creativity.
  2. Festive Celebrations: In this theme, we’re inviting young people to be at the heart of our celebrations. Their infectious energy, combined with a thirst for free expression, creates the perfect blend for our festival.”

By inviting three internationally-renowned French artists and a particularly well-known Indian artist to India, Wall Art#4 promises a unique experience for the inhabitants of 13 Indian cities.

In Bhopal, the performance will take place in our premises, with a mural creation by Priyanka Thaker (House of Berserk) on the entry wall of our ground floor. You are all welcomed to join us and admire the live performance done by this talented artist.
