Alliance Française de Bhopal is thrilled to announce its new Art Exhibition, Faces of Imagination, from 7th June to 19th June 2024.
Faces of imagination showcases ten portraits by Anuj Pillai, a young photographer from Bhopal. It also features the results of a photo workshop he led in May at Alliance Française de Bhopal with teenagers and the NGO Muskaan to share his techniques for expressing one’s identity through photography.
An opening ceremony will take place on 7th June at 6.30pm at Alliance Française de Bhopal , B-75 Shahpura, in presence of the artist.
About Anuj Pillai
Anuj Pillai is a 21-year-old self-taught photographer based in Bhopal. His journey into the world of photography began five years ago. Having developed a keen eye for detail over the years, Anuj enjoys telling stories and exploring the essence and the particularities of individualities. His creative and metaphorical portraits are aimed at reflecting the feelings and personality of his subjects. For him, the key to a successful creative portrait is to express the desired feelings through photographs using imagination, symbols and original compositions.
