Alliance Française de Bhopal is glad to be part of the organization of a 3-days workshop on Humanities and Social Sciences with the Association des Jeunes Etudes Indiennes (AJEI) and the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of IISER Bhopal, with the support of the Centre de Sciences Humaines (CSH Delhi) and GIS Asie.
This International Workshop aims to discuss, outline, and debate young researchers’ quests for Ethics and Reflexivity in their journey to produce knowledge.
20 young scholars of different disciplines (History, Social Anthropology, Sociology, Cultural Studies, etc.) and institutions (JNU, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, IIT Madras and Gandhinagar, University of Delhi, Shiv Nadar University, etc.) will be presenting their work and debating with 6 senior discussants from Canada, France, and India.
We are delighted to welcome in Bhopal Dr. Ambika Aiyadurai, Prof. Mathieu Boisvert, Dr. Laurence Gautier, Dr. Swargajyoti Gohain, Prof. Veena Naregal, Dr. Fabien Provost, and Dr. Philippe Maurin, Attaché de Coopération Scientifique et Universitaire – Consulat Général de France à Bombay at this occasion.

The workshop is organized by the Association Jeunes Etudes Indiennes (AJEI) in collaboration with the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) – Bhopal and Alliance Française de Bhopal, with the support of Centre de Sciences Humaines in Delhi (CSH) and GIS Asie. Since its creation in 1998, this is the 23rd Young Researchers Workshop in Social Sciences organized by AJEI in India.
