Gallery
The Alliance Française Art Gallery regularly hosts exhibitions by painters, sculptors and photographers from Madhya Pradesh highlighting solo or collective works with occasional shows by artists from outside MP and including France.
For nearly 25 years, we at the Alliance Française de Bhopal Gallery have been proud to feature many internationally well known local artists as well as newly discovered local talents. Here are a few names amongst others: Smiti Dixit, Manish Pushkale, Seema Ghuraiya, Anvar Khan, Avadhesh Yadav, Siraj Saxena, Mohan Malviya, Nagesh Sharma, Monica Sharma, Shabnam Shah, Rajiq Shah, Harendra Shah, Alok Sharma, Madhu Sharma, Akhilesh, Sachida Nagdev, L. N. Bhawsar, Robin David, Jangarh Singh Shyam.
Procedures/terms for exhibiting in AF Gallery :
- An application by artist which is to include bio-data and portfolio of recent works.
- Approval by the Executive Committee of AF Bhopal.
- Upon approval a suitable date is conveyed to artist.
- The artist will bear the cost of framing of his/her works.
- The AF Bhopal will provide the printing of invitation cards.
- Once accepted the Gallery is available free of cost.
- The Gallery does ask artists of solo exhibitions to contribute to the institute an exhibit, at the end of the exhibition.
