- Why learn French?
French is spoken on the five continents. An ability to speak French and English is an advantage for finding a job at home and internationally with the many multinational companies whose working language is French. Learning a language is also the best way to reach out to the world and discover a new culture.
- Which certificates can I obtain at the end of my course?
All our couses prepare students to sit for DELF and DALF exams. These diplomas are internationally recognized and are accredited by the French Ministry of National Education. They are a valuable addition to one’s resume. The Alliance Française of Bhopal and Indore is the only centre in Madhya Pradesh to provide DELF and DALF examinations.
- What are the suitable timings for the working professionals?
We offer classes in the morning from 7:00 to 9:00 am and in the evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm as well as weekend classes which suit working profesionals very well.
- Are there classes on weekends?
Yes, we do have classes on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to noon.
- I have already studied French. Which level can I join?
If you have studied French in the past you will be asked to complete a placement test prior to registration in order for us to recommend the most suitable class for you.
- What is the mode of payment?
You can either pay cash or by cheque. Payments must be made in full at the time of registration.
- Can I pay in installments?
There is no option of paying by installments. One has to pay the entire course fee at the time of admission.
- Does the Alliance Française follow the same syllabus as schools and colleges?
No, we don’t. Our syllabus is different. We stress on speaking and aural as well as writing communication. French culture is also an important component. However, a French course at the Alliance can reinforce your learning and help you getting good marks in your school/college exams.
- In addition to my French language class, how can I become more acquainted with French culture?
Students of the Alliance Française are automatically members of the Alliance and have free access to our library. Moreover a rich aray of cultural programs are regularly organized throughout the year. These events are open to our members and students and are seen as exceptional value added elements to the learning experience for students of the Alliance Française.
- If I can’t attend a French class at Alliance, can I do a class at distance?
You can consider Click on French, an online French course for beginners developed by the Alliance Française network and the French Embassy. Log on www.clickonfrench.com.

- Who are the Alliance Française teachers?
The Alliance Française de Bhopal team is composed of 10 teachers. Professional and experienced they are trained by the Embassy of France in India to teach French as a foreign language.
